My name is Tim Laws, I am married and I am the proud father of a three and a half year old daughter. I would not normally create a web site; however this is a requirement for my art class, so I will make the best of it.

My wife, Janeth, is from Túxpan, Veracruz and I am from Morganton, North Carolina and it just so happens that fate brought us together in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. We met at work actually, she worked for Corning in Reynosa and I worked in North Carolina. While part of a transfer team of product lines from the US to Mexico we happened to meet. At first we had a difficult time communicating since I spoke no Spanish and she spoke no English, but we worked through that minor issue and are now happily married.

Our daughter, Aliya, will begin school this fall… how time flies; it seems she was just born yesterday. She loves to sing, dance and play with her Barbies. She also likes to visit her grandmother's house in Reynosa where she spends most of her time playing with her cousin, Julie. She would like to have a pet, either a dog or cat, but I don’t think we are ready for one just yet. Oh, and did I mention, she is spoiled, and I had nothing to do with it.

Working full time in Mexico, going to school ¾ time in the US and managing a family makes it difficult to have hobbies, though when I do get the occasional free moment I enjoy spending time in the gym or riding my mountain bike.
